I started my Martial Arts training at a very young age and my first mentor were Sensei Ken Wittstock who had a Dojo in Randfontein, South Africa. Also trained with Sensei’s such as Stan Smith, Johan Roets and it was during June 1978, when our Sensei from Japan travelled here and I took my Shodan test.
!979 called to Military service and during this period had the opportunity to train in various other Martial Arts Systems, including Funakosi Karate, Small Circle Ju Jutsu, Kickboxing and Knife Fighting.
On my completion I moved to East London were I met with John Gerber who took me to 1st Degree Black Belt in Small Circle Ju Jutsu.
Still searching found my first Ninjutsu Instructor – Barry Pictor 6th Degree and he trained and after sometime achieved my 4th Degree under him.
I then started to travel the Globe searching for new Masters and ended in USA and trained till receiving my 6th Degree in 1989.
In April 2004 were promoted by a Council of six (6) Masters to Judan Level and have served as President of the BDFS International which I founded with Doctor Lawrence Day form USA and Doctor Ernie Reynolds.
To date have been awarded rank in Shotokan Karate – 10th Degree
Poison Hand Techniques – 8th Degree
Small Circle Ju Jutsu 6th Degree
Yang Tai Chi Chuan – Instructor Status
Kali / Escrima _ Instructor
Professional Body Guard – Instructor
Numerous Hall of Fame awards since 1990 till date including Martial Arts Pioneer, Grandmaster of the Year to name a few.
Hold my Doctorates Degrees PhD, D.Sc, and a Professorship in Alternative Medicines. |
