Avi Avisadon (Dan 8) – Professional & Technical Director

Avi Avisadon has been practicing Krav Maga and Krav Magen, both Israeli Martial Arts, for more than 30 years.

In 1978 Mr. Avisadon was awarded the first Black belt of K.A.M.I - Israel Krav Magen Association by the founder Mr. Eli Avikzar – Dan 10, and today holds the rank of Dan 8. After the death of the founder, Mr. Avisadon was appointed Head and Chairman of K.A.M.I – Israel Krav Magen Association worldwide after holding the position of Deputy Head of K.A.M.I for 15 years.

Mr. Avisadon is a qualified Martial Arts Instructor obtaining his Diploma from the “Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sports", and also holds a Diploma as a Senior Teacher.

During his military service, Mr. Avisadon was Deputy Head of the Krav Maga section in the Israeli Defence Forces, and then furthered his scope to take charge of the Israeli Naval Commando Elite force in tactical and combat self-defence. During this period he also trained a number of other Elite units in the field of Krav Maga.

In 1992-1996 Mr. Avisadon commanded 25 instructors who taught and trained security guards for all the Educational Institutions in Israel. He also gives seminars to Female instructors that teach self-defence in Israeli schools. Since 1991 Mr. Avisadon teaches self-defence courses of Krav Magen at the Wingate Institute.

Since 2002 Mr. Avisadon coordinates all Krav Magen courses for security guards for the Ministry of Transportation, the Port Authorities in Haifa and Eilat, the Ministry of Postal Services and the Israeli College for Security and Investigation.

Mr. Avi Avisadon is also involved in preparing personal security for dignitary and political persons both in Israel and Abroad. He is also in contact with the Heads of various communities in Russia with regards to security issues.

Avi coordinates all aspects of Martial Arts at the Wingate Institute which includes all recognized Martial Arts. In this capacity he runs yearly or condensed courses for Coaches, Instructors and Senior Coaches.

Perry Gonen (Dan 4) – General Manager

Active for over 25 years in martial arts of Krav Maga and Krav Magen. Perry Gonen is a qualified Martial Arts Instructor obtaining his Diploma from the “Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sports", and also holds a Diploma as a Senior Teacher in Martial Arts. Perry also holds the executive office of General Manager of KAMI-Krav Magen Association.

Perry acts as a guest lecturer in different areas of martial arts and did extensive work in editing and explaining all the exercises in the Krav Magen exercise books.

Perry Gonen has more than 35 years business experience and held key positions in leading companies. Perry is also a member of the National Association of Accountants.

Shai Ish - Shalom Lt.Col

Head Instructor of Armed Combat

A long history of more than 25 years of active combat as a warrior and Battalion Commander in the IDF (Israel Defence Force). Shai, has participated in many well known commando operations, the most famous of them the recue of the highjacked plane to "Entebe". He has served long periods in special commando units and has been wounded in action four times.

Shai has trained all kinds of security personnel i.e. security-guards, V.I.P Close-protectors, Chief-Security Officers, Military and Police C.T.U etc.

Special forces training and C.T.U for Governmental use - Kamaroon, Nigeria, Romania, Panama, Ukraine, Russia and China.

His speciality also includes Security array, site security-guards, Banks and C.I.T. protection, V.I.P protection (escort,survey, drive, plan, team-commanders, preventive behaviour etc) for Private Companies, Businessmen, Energy-sector, Media-sector. Consulting regarding equipment, fund and maintaining of general-security systems on a National or International scale (Air\Sea\Train-ports, Prisons, Governmental\Private estates, Federal Banks, Cell-companies, Civilian counter crime, etc).
